OUR DESIGNER
Australian designer, Scott Blee is the founder, owner and chief designer of SABDES Yacht Design, and relishes being given client opportunities to develop new work. Scott brings a wealth of experience, rigor and fierce creativity into all of his work; combining Naval Architecture and Industrial Design training with professional experience gained from more than 30 years; initially he started working in Naval and Commercial Ship design offices, then made a gradual transition into Superyachts, developing the high standards required. SABDES Design was later formed and they soon gained notoriety in the Superyacht Design world with a focus on innovative, sustainable and stylish Yacht Design work that inspires and is ahead of the game. Scott regularly visits at International Yacht Shows, owns a Fjord Dayboat, and keeps fit by rowing in his own design of a recreational rowing scull. Outside of Yacht Design, he competes in F3 open wheeler car racing (and is an avid follower of F1 racing), has interest in Car Design, Architecture, Space and Technology, and he maintains a positive influence on Yachting’s future.
